Sex Education

Workshops and/or ongoing series are all scientifically accurate and aligned with current research and best practices. They are skill based, student-centered and interactive and include lesson plans and/or follow-up resources.

 

Workshops / Curricular units can be fully customized or selected from the examples below:

 

For 4th-5th Grade
4-Session Puberty Series

Covering anatomy, emotional and physical changes, hygiene, healthy relationships, communication, talking with trusted adults, and responses to student questions

 

For 9th-12th Grade
4-12 Session Series

Covering healthy relationships, sexual orientation, gender and identity, boundaries, consent, sexual decision-making, Sexually Transmitted Infections, safer sex and pregnancy prevention, pornography and media  literacy, and abuse/violence prevention

For 6th Grade
6-Session Puberty Series

Covering emotional and physical changes, gender roles, identifying and communicating boundaries, communication skills, romantic relationships, and accessing resources 


For 9th-12th Grade
2-hour Workshop

Covering risk assessment, responsible decision-making, sexual rights and responsibilities, in-depth anatomy (including pleasure), understanding stigma, being empowered about your sexual health, understanding and practicing consent
